Diorama Updates, 2024
The GSDVC has some really great diorama displays of the dunes and habitats of the area in different seasons, and they were aging. Backgrounds and backlit displays were faded and needed to be replaced. We were able to select, edit, and product new graphic backgrounds that fit with the existing dioramas so they didn’t have to be entirely redone.

Images above are the displays after our updates. Below are the displays as they were.

Interactive Upgrades, 2020
Many of the state parks feature an interactive game about the Asian Longhorn Beetle. The game was created for a tablet, but the tablets weren’t able to withstand the visitor traffic. We were able to put an upgraded version the game onto a CPU with an industrial-strength touch screen and put it in a durable housing. Three locations now have this upgrade, including the GSDVC at Hoffmaster State Park.

Reader rails, 2017
The GSDVC requested graphic displays that could be attached to existing cases that would also allow them to change out the graphics as needed. We provided them with this—the graphics are easy to change and inexpensive to produce when they need to update them.

Plover display, 2017
A small, but realistic depiction of the environment where a plover would be found in nature.
