This shop space is at the main entry for the Research Center, so they needed a custom reception and retail counter combination. All the furniture in the space is custom designed for functionality and versatility in product display and to help facilitate the feel of an old country store in a modern building.

The atrium space of the former bank provided a nice place for a mural to tie together all the townships in the county. Acrylic signage was added in various areas to mark locations as well as sponsors for the remodeling that was done.

This building was formerly a bank, and is now the Mason County Research Center. These cabinets were designed to provide secure storage space for artifacts in the Historical Society’s collection for visitors to view.
